Chicken Dilemna.. Att: All COOKS!?
I usually never have a problem with chicken recipes. However, my husband and I are moving to Virginia this weekend and we're trying to eat up as much food as possible without buying any groceries. I have 3 boneless chicken breasts and don't know what to make. Here are the ingredients I have. I prefer it to go well over Stovetop or Rice-a-roni (I have chicken teriyaki & chicken flavor). Mayonnaise Heavy Cream (half a pint) Chopped garlic Butter Chicken Broth Thousan Island dressing Honey Mustard Ketchup White Wine Maple Syrup Vodka Teriyaki Sauce Vodka Sauce (for Pasta) Peanut Butter Breadcrumbs (1/4th of a box) Worcestershire Sauce Salt & Pepper Oregano Basil Parsley Parmesean Barbecue Spices Any ideas? I prefer to bake it in some sort of way. Thanks in advance.

- baked chicken over rice peas
- Breaded Chicken INGREDIENTS 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts 1 cup Italian-style salad dressing 2 cups seasoned dry bread crumbs DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Dredge chicken breasts in salad dressing, then coat completely with bread crumbs. Place coated chicken breasts in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear. If you dont have the italian dressing, you can use egg whites. dip the chicken and then dredge through the bread crumbs. or you can make your own breading. use flour with any kinds of spices you like to make your own flavor. By the way, what part of Virginia? Just wondering, cause thats where I live.
- Here's what I'd do. Bake up the chicken and shred it. Then make a roux of 2 tbsp butter, 3 tbsp flour. Once it's bubbly and cooked for 1 minute, add the cream, chicken broth (1 cup- 11/2 cups) a splash of wine 1 tsp chopped garlic, salt and pepper to taste. toss in some herbs and parmesan cheese. then lay the chicken mixture in the bottom of the same baking dish. Add a bag of frozen veggies or a can of veggies, whatever you have. moisten the stuffing with 1/2 cup of broth or water and spread it on top
- marinate the chicken in teriyaki and have rice you have the ingredients for chicken with alfredo sauce-- cook chicken (bake or grill then slice) saute garlic in a little olive oil pour in cream add parm serve over pasta top with chicken and toasted bread crumbs Use chicken broth instead of water when making stuffing or rice.
- I usually bake chicken breasts in a glass baking dish 13x9 at 350F for between 1 and 1 and half hours. Lay them in the pan. Place a liquid in the bottom of pan. Good Base Liquids (use one like these or one of these not all) Beer or Fruit Juice from canned fruit (apricot) then add season salt and pepper, Garlic. Very nice. Recipe is called Apricot Chicken if searching internet. or A Can of Cream of Mushroom soup with Worchestershire sauce, chopped onions, salt and pepper and cider vinegar. You might try the white wine, honey mustard and the worchestershire sauce with what you have there and some of the spices. Cover with foil for about :30 to an hour and remove for last :30. To me it seems you need either an alcohol base or broth base, something sweet and something savory to put on the chicken.
- Well, what a great ingredient list here....... you can do so many things. You can make chicken satay (simply cut the chicken breasts into strips and grill them on skewers) and make a quick cheat on the peanut dipping sauce with the peanut butter mixed with a bit of the teriyaki sauce. You can also butterfly (split open) the chicken breasts and dredge them in seasoned flour with oregano, basil, salt and pepper in cook in a medium-high skillet with a bit of oil til golden, take them out of the skillet and set aside. Deglaze the pan with some white wine (to get up the cooked bits in the pan), add some chicken stock and reduce to a thick sauce (from the cooked flour bits in the pan, it will thicken the sauce). And put the chicken breasts back in the sauce and serve with your chicken flavor rice-a-roni and some veggies. You can also make chicken parmesan.... bread the chicken breast and use the vodka pasta sauce with some basil.... that would also be good. :)
- how about herb breaded chicken with rice. just add the seasonings you like into the bread crumbs and then top with parmesean cheese. fry them in a pan til they are good and crispy serve with rice.
