What do you think about this meal?
We had some friends over and this is what I served Cheddar Garlic biscuits...Like at Red Lobster Calamari in a Lemon Beurre Blanc with fresh Roma tomatoes and capers Salmon poached in white wine and herbs Penne pasta with sauteed garlic, olive oil and fresh tomatoes Carrots in a brown sugar butter sauce Cheesecake..I made myself..with fresh strawberries and strawberry glaze! No SALAD!!!!! I got rave reviews...the calamari was very tender.....I hate to brag...but is it okay if I do just a lil bit?

- sounds very high calorie and high fat. no salad for those with a lighter appetite?
- i'm SOOOO hungry now. i'd pay a million bucks 2 eat that meal!
- It sounds like a nice romantic dinner to me. But delicious nonetheless.
- Yummy. Now thats nice dinner!!!
- sounds yummy. minus the fact i'm really not hungry right now. :)
- You are making me sooooo hungry! But, too much sauce for me!!
- Sounds great. . . . . . But i suspect you know that!!
- i think that it is very tropical n exiting in a way it sounds like those meals u see on BBC Food but even better if u keep goin on like this u will need to open a posh restaurant with famous french n italian cooks just thinkin about it makes me hungry mmmm i think i will stop by for dinner!
- Sounds great! <*-*>
- It sounds excellent, but I like seafood. A balanced menu should have: a vegetarian dish, a meat dish, and a seafood dish. Was this meal a non-red meat affair? Even though I love red meat; I would not mind your menu.
- You sound like you could open a shop!
- Can I have some?? Please?? Sounds so yummy.
- Sounds dee-lish. I don't care for salmon, but everything else sounds great. Especially the calamari. Thanks for the invite! j/k But seriously....
- mmmmmmmmm that sounds very good
- I hope your friends enjoyed the meal. However, if there seemed to be a problem.... or someone didn't really eat and maybe you're a little upset? I'm not into squid, hope your friends enjoyed the trouble to which you went to prepare the dish. However, I'm sorry that I must tell you that the menu was not well balanced or varied enough. A diabetic or vegetarian or would have had a really tough time with your menu, and if she/he was both..... 2 seafood dishes, 2 wheat (bread and pasta) dishes (high carb), Carrots (high carb, a dessert as you prepared them) And your very lovely cheesecake (high carb/dairy dessert) Personally, I'd would have eaten really small servings, passed on a dish or two, and went home and had a salad or steamed vegetables and some consomme.
- yummmmmmmmmm
