Wine Information
vineyards and wineries for wine tasting in Santa Barbara area? need suggestions..?
I'd like advice about very good/the best vineyards/wineries in the Santa Barbara area.a few friends and I want to celebrate a birthday. I would like a place where we can wine taste for free or cheap ( we are all a bit broke..and I've never done this so i don't know if they are usually free with at least a few bottle purchases, or if you have to pay for wine tasting seperately). We will probably buy a few bottles anyway. Also, we are probably going to want to picnic or something...so can we bring our own stuff and picnic there? do people do that? is that an additional fee? I'm not sure if we want a tour of the vineyard or the wine making process, buts a nice option to have. I just don't know anything. But i do want a nice place with an awesome ambience to have a great time with friends..and hope that it won't cost an arm and a leg. I appreciate any advice about specific places in the area. I would also appreciate advice about facts to consider and anything about how things are done Thanks, but I already knew about the site...I wanted personal experience kid of suggestions for places though...like if youve been to a particular one you would recommend.
