I already have some pasta..shreaded cheddar or swiss cheeses..white wine,,spices... butter... bbq sauce...mayo..dijon mustards...salso.. cream of celery soups... canned chili...canned green beans...canned corn... frozen Talapia fish.... Any recipe suggestions? I can buy a few things just as long as its $10 or less! Thank you!

  1. Baked Tilapia in foil over pasta- Spice the fish add some white wine and butter - bake Buy vegetable broth - sautee butter, broth, white wine, add a little flour, simmer until the sauce thickens - pour over pasta All you need to buy is the flour and vegetable broth
  2. Buy a bag of chicken leg quarters...usually 10 piece bag is only 4 bucks...Bake it or fry it, cook with pasta and cheese, etc...yum. Bake the chicken with a layer of Dijon mustard and spices, at the end of baking place a layer of Swiss cheese over top and bake until melted, serve with green beans...yum. Have chili and corn on top of pasta with shredded cheddar...add a bit of Salsa for spice... yum. Bake the Tilapia in Italian Dressing...1 buck for generic brand...buy an onion and a green bell pepper (2 bucks, tops)...cut onion and green pepper into large chunks, place in foil pouch with fish and Italian Dressing...yum.
  3. Pasta with beans and corn and fish. Place fish in an oven dish, cover with tinned vegetables, add cooked pasta. Make a cheese sauce and pour over the top. Sprinkle with grate cheese and bake at 180C for about 30 minutes, or until it is bubbling and the cheese is beginning to brown
  4. Mix the canned chili and pasta, top with shredded cheese. Mix the canned corn and salsa, use to top the talapia. Pick up some ground beef ($2.50/lb) and eggs($1/doz), use them with the bbq and dijon mustard to make a meatloaf... canned green beans on the side White bread ($1/loaf) and American cheese ($2.00/package)... make grilled cheese sandwiches, add eggs for breakfast sandwiches. $3.50 left... You can usually find a small roaster chicken on sale, then you can use the white wine and butter you have on hand to bake it. If all else fails, Totino's party pizza's are filling and only 98 cents each!

  8. You could take the talapia and lay it on foil. Top it with salsa and some shredded cheese and fold up the foil to make a pouch bake for about 15 to 20 minutes. or buy a can of tuna. Boil your pasta or buy some egg noodles and boil them add cream of celery soup and 1/2 milk I use peas but you could use the green beans add all ingredients together and place in a greased casserole dish and bake 30 to 40 minutes If you have left over potato chips (even stale ones) crumble them and put on top before baking.
