- Lambrini - available at most local paki shops.
- Try a Chablis or Riesling.
- Sauvignon Blancs/Fume Blancs are very dry, crisp, clean and go well with what you are serving. Here are a few of my recommendations: -Geyser Peak ($12.00 btl) -Kim Crawford ($15.00 btl) -Artesa ($22.00 btl) -Dry Creek Fume ($13.00) -Chateau St. Jean Fume ($20.00) These are the prices you will pay at a grocery or liquor store not in a restaurant.
- My personal favorite white wine is also one of the lesser expensive you'll find. Big House White, it's a blend of a bunch of different stuff and is absolutely divine. It's by a company called ca'del solo and is a division of bonny doon farms, so you know it's good stuff. Goes for about $10/bottle, but I've seen it as low as 7.
- Any Savignone Blanc like Robert Mondavi, Turning Leaf, Kendall Jackson, Rodney Strong... Depending on the cheese you're serving, you might also want to try a Pinot Grigio, or a good Chardonnay like Bogle, or Rodney Strong. All are moderate and between $10-$16 range. Cheers
- Would be better with a red really, but Frascati is quite a dry white. Any supermarket will have it for under £4
- I would suggest either a Soave or Frascati, both Italian and both very cheap.
- american big chill mcguigans white blossom hill white/rose
- frascati, a very good crisp italian, expect to pay around £5 a bottle
