What to wear to a date for a movie & dinner/wine tasting?
I'm going out for a 2nd date tomorrow - my date is coming from 3 hrs away - so we want to spend as much time together. We're going to watch "The Dark Knight", dinner then wine tasting/going to a lounge. I want to wear this summer-like evening dress since I don't want to change, would that be appropriate? (not too dressy?) I think he's prob. gonna dress semi-casual. Thanks.

- i think that sounds great! woman can always tone down or dress up a dress so a dress is always a great outfit for many occasions. i would also be sure to bring a sweater for the movies as it always gets cold in the theaters! have fun!
- Yeah, I'm sure you will be fine wearing that, because let me tell you as a guy, we don't really judge the outfits girls wear on dates unless its like totally trashy looking or something. I am sure your date is more interested in spending time with you than your clothes though. Good luck!

- I think it sounds perfect. Most dates are dinner and a movie so it isn't uncommon to wear a dress to the movies. Wine tasting/dinner is always semi-casual and an evening dress sounds perfect. Just don't over do it with a lot of jewelry or a fancy hair-do.

- Heels and a dress is just fine. Warning: Might want to find out just what HE means by semi-casual. To some people, it means no tie and no cuff links...others show up in their PJ's and a hoodie. Have fun!!
